How It Works
Every vote in Vora can be recorded on the blockchain for full transparency:
A customer casts their vote
The vote is immediately counted in the native system
A hash of the vote is submitted to the blockchain
The transaction is confirmed on the Polygon network
The customer receives a verification link
Verifying a Vote
After voting, customers can click View on Blockchain to see:
Transaction hash
Block number
Timestamp
Proposal reference
Vote data (encrypted)
This opens the blockchain explorer (PolygonScan) where anyone can independently verify the transaction.
Why Blockchain?
Immutable
Votes cannot be changed or deleted after recording
Transparent
Anyone can verify that the count is accurate
Trustworthy
No one — not even Vora — can manipulate results
Auditable
Complete voting history is permanently available
Gasless Voting
Customers never pay any blockchain fees. Vora sponsors all transactions, so the experience is completely seamless no crypto wallet required, no technical knowledge needed.
