Managing Proposals

As an admin, you can perform the following actions on proposals:

• Edit — Modify the title, description, ending mode, and target (only before any votes are cast)

• Attach/Remove Rewards — Link rewards to proposals that voters receive at close time

• Close Early — End voting before the scheduled deadline or target is reached

• Cancel — Void all votes and mark the proposal as cancelled

• Delete — Remove the proposal entirely (only if no votes have been cast)

• View Analytics — See detailed voting statistics and breakdowns

Editing Ending Options

You can change a proposal's ending mode and target while it has zero votes:

• Switch between Voting Duration, Number of Votes, and Total Voting Power

• Adjust the duration, target vote count, or target voting power

Once the first vote is cast, the ending configuration is locked and cannot be modified. You can still close or cancel the proposal manually.

Customizing the Close Message

The reward email's content is controlled through the reward's Email Instruction field. When you create or edit a reward in Settings → Rewards, the instruction text appears in a highlighted box within every reward email. Use it to thank voters, explain next steps, or link to relevant pages.

The results summary (winning choice + percentage) and a "View Full Results" button are automatically included in every reward email — no configuration needed.

Want to communicate results without a tangible reward? Create a simple "Thank You" custom reward with your message in the Email Instruction field. Every voter will receive the close email with results and your personal message.

Closing a Proposal Manually

Regardless of the ending mode, you can close a proposal at any time by clicking Close on the proposal detail page. This immediately finalizes results, distributes rewards to eligible voters, and notifies followers.
