Creating Rewards
Rewards are created in your space's Rewards settings. Once created, a reward can be attached to any number of proposals — think of it as a reusable incentive template.
Step-by-Step
Navigate to Settings from the sidebar
Click the Rewards tab
Click + New Reward

Writing Great Email Instructions
The Email Instruction field is the single most important text in your reward. It appears prominently in the voter's email and determines whether they successfully claim the reward. Tips:
Be specific: "Show this QR code at the counter in our Milan store, Via Roma 15, Mon-Sat 10am-6pm" beats "Visit us in store"
Include deadlines: "Valid until April 30, 2026" prevents confusion
Add conditions: "One per person. Cannot be combined with other offers."
Keep it concise: 2-3 sentences is ideal. The email template already has structure — your instruction fills in the details
Managing Existing Rewards
From the Rewards settings tab, you can:
Edit any reward — changes apply to future distributions only (already-sent emails are not affected)
Deactivate a reward — it won't be distributed on future proposal closes, but existing claims remain valid
Delete a reward — removes it entirely (only if it has no claims)
Reusing Rewards Across Proposals
A reward definition is separate from its attachment to a proposal. This means:
Create a "10% Off" reward once
Attach it to your January proposal, February proposal, March proposal...
Each proposal generates its own set of claims with unique codes
The reward definition stays the same; the claims are per-proposal
This design lets you maintain consistent incentive programs without recreating rewards for every proposal.
