Creating Your Account

Creating your Vora account takes just a few minutes. You'll set up your organization (your brand's governance space) and your personal admin account in a single step.

Step 1: Choose Your Account Type

Go to voiceofthenewera.com/signup.htmlarrow-up-right. You'll first choose between:

  • Personal Account — For individuals who want to explore the platform, vote on proposals, and participate in Idea Challenges. No organization setup required.

  • Business Account — For brands and companies that want to create a governance space, run proposals, and engage their customers. Includes full organization setup.

Step 2: Organization Details (Business Account)

If you chose Business Account, fill in:

  • Organization Name — The name displayed publicly on your governance space (e.g., "Acme Corp"). This is how customers will see your brand.

  • Organization URL — A unique slug for your space. This becomes your URL: voiceofthenewera.com/space.html?org=your-slug. Only lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens are allowed. Choose carefully — this is your permanent web address.

  • Industry — Select your industry from the dropdown (Fashion & Apparel, Beauty & Cosmetics, Sport & Fitness, Gaming & Esports, Technology & Software, Food & Beverage, and more). This helps visitors discover your space on the Explore page through industry filtering.

Step 3: Account Details

  • Email Address — Used for login, notifications, and account recovery. Must be a valid email address.

  • First Name & Last Name — Your personal details as the account administrator.

  • Password — Minimum 8 characters. A strength indicator shows you how secure your password is in real time — aim for "Strong" or better.

  • Confirm Password — Re-enter your password to make sure there are no typos.

Step 4: Consents

Required (must accept to register):

  • Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

  • Data Processing Agreement (DPA) for GDPR compliance

Optional:

  • Newsletter — Receive platform updates, community news, and tips for getting the most out of Vora

  • Marketing — Hear about new features, integrations, and special offers

Step 5: Verification

After submitting the form, you'll receive a verification email at the address you provided. Click the verification link in the email to activate your account. The link is valid for 24 hours.

Once verified, you can log in and start setting up your governance space immediately.
