Creating Your Account

Creating your Vora account takes about a minute. Vora keeps the signup form intentionally short - you can set up your governance space with just three pieces of information, or skip the form entirely and sign in with Google.

Option 1 - Sign up with email

Go to voiceofthenewera.com/signup.html. Fill in:

• Space name - The brand or community name displayed publicly on your governance space (e.g., "Acme Coffee"). This is also used to derive your space URL slug (voiceofthenewera.com/space.html?org=acme-coffee). You can rename the display name later from Settings; the slug is permanent.
• Email address - Used for login, transactional notifications, and account recovery. Must be a valid email.
• Password - Minimum 8 characters. A strength indicator shows you how secure your password is in real time.

Check the Terms of Service & Privacy Policy acknowledgement, then click Create account.

Option 2 - Continue with Google

If you'd rather not manage another password, click Continue with Google at the top of the signup form. Vora reads your name and email from your Google account; you'll choose your space name immediately after, and you can sign in from any device with the same Google account.

Email verification

After signing up with email you'll receive a verification message at the address you provided. Click the verification link to activate your account - the link is valid for 24 hours. Google-OAuth accounts skip this step (Google has already verified the address).

What happens next

Once verified you land directly in your new space. From here you can:

• Customise your space appearance and language in Settings
• Invite team members from Member Management
• Create your first proposal or idea challenge
• Generate API keys and the Rewards HMAC secret from Settings -> Advanced when you're ready to integrate external systems

Note

No more separate Personal vs. Business account types. Every new signup creates a space - but you're free to use it just for personal voting and experimentation if you prefer. There's no commitment, no card required, and the Starter plan is permanently free.
