Creating a Challenge

  1. Navigate to Idea Challenges from the sidebar
  2. Click + New Challenge
  3. Fill in the challenge details:

Basic Info

Field Description
Title The challenge headline (e.g., "Design Our Anniversary Edition")
Description Full challenge brief - rules, requirements, what you're looking for
Hero Image A banner image to represent the challenge (PNG/JPG/WebP, <= 2.5 MB)

Timeline

Field Description
Submission Start When submissions open to participants
Submission End When submissions close (no new entries accepted after this)
Voting Start When community voting begins
Voting End When voting closes; you announce winners manually after this

Submission Requirements

Field Description
Min Images / Max Images How many images each submission must include (e.g., 1 to 4)
Min / Max Description Length Character bounds for the submitter's description text

These bounds are enforced by the submission form - see How Customers Submit Ideas for the file-format requirements customers are subject to.

Prizes - Two Audiences

Vora separates what the winning submitter receives from what every voter receives. Use either tier on its own, or both together. See Prize Configuration for the full guide; the short version:

Field Audience Example
Grand Prize Title Winning submitter "1-of-100 Artist Edition T-shirt"
Grand Prize Description Winning submitter "Numbered edition + 20% revenue share"
Runner-up Prize Title Top non-winners (opt) "Featured + EUR 100 store credit"
Runner-up Prize Description Top non-winners (opt) "Top 3 non-winners get social feature + credit"
Voter Reward Title Every voter "Exclusive pre-order access"
Voter Reward Description Every voter "24-hour early-access window via personal code"

The free-form fields above are descriptive copy for the public challenge page. To actually deliver something to voters automatically (e.g., a personal voting code that unlocks a pre-order), also attach a catalogue Reward to the challenge in the Rewards section.

Optional

  • NFT Rewards - Enable to mint a winner-NFT on Base Mainnet at announce-winners time (requires NFT collection configured at the org level; Enterprise plans).
  • Max votes per user - How many ideas a single voter can vote for (default 1).
  • Featured - Promotes the challenge to the top of your space's challenge list.

After You Save

The challenge enters Draft status until you publish it. Editing in Draft is unrestricted; once published, most fields stay editable but a few are locked once submissions begin (timeline, voting rules) to keep the game fair.
